AgriSecure Founders Bryce Irlbeck and J.P. Rhea will be hosting farmer panels at Farmer2Farmer next month.

Farmer Business Network’s (FBN) annual conference will take place at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska, on December 11-13, 2019. It will include a tradeshow, farmer panels, several keynote speakers and networking opportunities for attendees.

Irlbeck will moderate the panel, “80 Million Millennials Can’t Be Wrong! Why and How to Get Started in Organics,” on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 2:20 p.m. in rooms 210-212. Featuring organic farmers Steve Merfeld, Aaron Zimmerman, Eric Thalken and Curtis Aday, the panel will discuss their reasons for getting into organic staple crop production and how they made the leap.

During the second farmer panel at 3:20 p.m. on Thursday, Rhea will moderate “Go Big or Go Home. Large-Scale Organic Farming,” in rooms 210-212 with four farmers — Travis Heide, Ron Robou, Jack Fehr and Billy Rucker — who all have organic operations between 10,000 and 40,000 acres. They’ll dispel the myth that organics only works on smaller operations and discuss the benefits and requirements of large-scale organic production.

In addition to the two farmer panels, AgriSecure will have a booth at the tradeshow where farmers can stop by to learn more about AgriSecure and organic farming.

Farmer2Farmer is open to farming operations of all types and FBN members can attend the event, along with two guests, for free. For full details about the three-day conference and to register, visit www.farmer2farmer.ag. For more information on AgriSecure, visit www.AgriSecure.com.
